CIAUD promotes internal competitive calls for 'embryo-projects', with international evaluation panels, financing up to € 7.500,00 per project.

As a deliverable, each project must prepare the publication of an ISI/Scopus indexed article and an application to a national or international competitive R&D call. Underlining some of the initiative main aims:

1. Raise the internal standards of scientific demand, distinguishing excellence.

2. Offer better support structures to the researchers.

3. Promote the cross-cutting and critical dimension of the projects and their integration in research groups, establishing partnerships with public administration, companies, non-governmental organizations, and other universities.
