The first meeting of the European Education Project in Digital Fashion Design, FashionTEX, took place between March 5 and 7 at the Lisbon School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, During this event, a panel of fashion industry experts shared their knowledge with the academic community and the general public.
The FashionTEX Project is a European consortium led by Europäisches Kulturforum (EKF). The REDES (Research & Education in Design) group at CIAUD of the Lisbon School of Architecture, University of Lisbon, is the portuguese partner in this consortium, in which mainly university institutions - fashion schools, specialists and other cooperating entities in the areas of fashion and digital technologies from ten European countries participate. This initiative, initiated in 2023, will run until 2026 and intends to continue after that date, and its main objective is to explore digital fashion and its articulation with physical fashion with a focus to building a sustainable future.
